The ABEC has developed the so-called ABEC (ANSI /ABMA Standard 20) scale, which defines tolerance classes for the manufacture of ball bearings. The corresponding ISO standard is ISO 492.
The tolerance classes of the ABEC scale are indictaed by ascending designations ABEC 1, ABEC 3 etc. The quality of warehouse increases accordinlgy with the ABEC degree.
In the general public, the ABEC scale is known primarily as a quality feature for the ball bearings of waveboards, inline skates, skateboards, kickboards, longboards and fidget spinners.
