Bauer Vapor X2.5 - JR Ice Skates

Bauer Vapor X2.5 are made for skaters who play hockey on amateur level as well as ones who seek a solid pair of skates for freestyle ice skating without breaking a bank. They have excellent price to quality ratio while still being a significant improvement over NS and NSX models.

Vapor X2.5 are inspired by skates used by professional hockey players and share many characteristics of those. Increased rigidity translates to better control on quick turns, tricks, freestyle and braking. Boot is made out of more resistant materials than NS line skates which means you can go lower without worrying about its structure breaking.

Upper part of the boot is intentionally loose, but it is also heat-mouldable. Thus, it can be adjusted to provide a close fit, which drastically improves skating experience. Our customers often say that after heatmolding Vapor X2.5 feel like a completely different skate and they are right. We highly recommend using this possibility to adjust the boot, it’s there for a reason!

Inside of the boot is finished with memory foams and EVA foam insole, both of which provide high level of comfort and adjust to user’s foot in no time. Vapor line models are slim fit skates – their overall volume is lower, they are narrower and there is not as much room as in equivalent Supreme line boots. It’s a perfect skate for people with low instep, but as always – we highly recommend trying them on before buying!
