Rigid and lightweight carbon shell

The first feature which differentiates Carbon 125 from other Swell skates is new base (shell) made out of compressed carbon with addition of Kevlar fibre. This means that it is super lightweight as well as as rigid as it can get – a true top shelf of inline skating tech!

• Trinity mounting standard - which lowers the center of balance, distributes vibrations more evenly through the boot and greatly improves energy transfer on push. 
• The shell is also heat-mouldable in 90 Celsius degrees - allows you to take care of any potential pressure points, if your feet are of the kind which does not get along with high-performance boots that well.

Height-adjustable cuffs

The cuff used in new Swell skates has been tested thoroughly in USD Aeon aggressive models first. It has been designed to deliver a great amount of ankle freedom when it comes to front to back movement range. Thanks to it, even though it is a high cut skate, you can go lower and make deeper pushes, without sacrificing ankle stability to the sides.

Canting system - you can place the cuff a bit lower using canting system to have even greater range of movement. You can also use it to tilt the cuff to left or right, helping you mitigate any tendencies for pronation or supination, which may cause pressure points in the ankle area.

3DAP Lining Technology

The upper is made out of durable, synthetic material which does excellent job at letting air in and moisture out of the skate.

• 3DAP inner padding - new, patented technology where instead of standard, pre-shaped foams glued together, it is a single cast made out of low density, resilient polyurethane. To allow for air flow and moisture removal, this cast have multiple little holes which are hidden beneath the outer skin.
• Pre-shaped boot tongue - made using the same technology and is not only but also comes which flex cuts, which allow it to bend to the shape of your foot in optimal way. These skates do not need break-in period – this revolutionary tech wraps around your foot perfectly the first time you put them on.
• Skates can be used with or without insole – a pair is included in the box. The boot closure consists of classic lacing and two really solid buckles with precise tightening system and metal levers.

Light and rigid Elite Casted MG 318 mm frame

• The Elite Casted MG frame of 318 mm length fits three 125 mm diameter wheels - Thanks to the fact it is made out of magnesium alloy, it is incredibly light while maintaining an excellent level of rigidity.
• Undercover RAW wheels - they use the very same, famous, ultra high rebound urethane compound as regular Undercover wheels. The fast and reliable ABEC9 bearings by Wicked complete the package.

Swell Carbon 125 can be recommended to everyone who is looking for a pair of fast, high quality skates for intense workouts and long distance skating. Riding a marathon in them won’t net you first place, most likely (this is what low cut speedskating boots are for) but nonetheless, there’s plenty of potential here to beat your own, personal records.
