Fifty/50 was founded in California in 1994 by Jess Dyrenforth and Ted Simpson, making it one of the longest-standing brands dedicated to aggressive inline skating. Born out of a growing need for specialized equipment in a rapidly evolving sport, Fifty/50 quickly carved out a niche by offering parts built specifically for aggressive skaters.

After a period away from the spotlight, the brand was revitalized by Lawrence Ingraham and now continues its legacy by producing high-quality frames, alongside an expanded lineup of wheels, backpacks, and handy accessories. Renowned skaters such as Stefan Brandow, Chris Farmer, Jon Fromm, and Sacha Lopez proudly represent Fifty/50, highlighting its deep roots and unwavering commitment to progression.

Among Fifty/50’s offerings are the classic yet upgraded Balance 2 frames, as well as the cutting-edge Prime frames. The Prime design, featuring an aluminum core and replaceable plastic sidewalls, is particularly noteworthy for its innovative take on flat setups.
