FR Sliders Inline Skate Wheels

A slide is a skating technique where the skater deliberately reduces the grip of the wheels to smoothly glide over the surface in a controlled manner. With FR Sliders wheels, specifically designed for this type of maneuver, sliding relies on their higher hardness and rounded profile, which reduce friction and make it easier to initiate a slide. In practice, sliding involves dynamically shifting body weight, positioning the legs correctly, and adjusting pressure on specific wheels to allow for a smooth and controlled glide without sudden stops. The FR Sliders wheels were created in collaboration with the Sliders Escuela team.

Thanks to their optimal balance between slip and control, FR Sliders wheels enable various slide techniques, such as powerslide, parallel slide, or magic slide. Their rounded profile minimizes contact with the ground, making slide initiation easier, while the hard urethane compound ensures durability even with frequent use. Choosing the right size—100 mm for greater control or 110 mm for longer, more stable slides—allows skaters to fine-tune their setup according to their personal preferences and skating style.
