Playlife has been created as more affordable line of Powerslide skates and is targeted towards beginners and intermediate skaters, who look for a good equipment at a low price. Playlife Lancer is indeed more budged oriented offering, but it has not been created like most of such skates from “value brands” – instead of just stamping their trademark on a generic skate, Powerslide used their older technology and projects as a base for this recreational model. Lancer is more of a reincarnation of older, basic Phuzion models which were made circa 2010 – a respectable skates back in the day - than an entirely new skate. This foundation on proven design gives the user confidence that Lancer will perform well.

As mentioned before, Lancers are softboots – comfortable, lightweight boot type that wraps around your foot and is supported by composite base and cuff. Although the rigid skeleton looks a tad minimalistic, it provides enough ankle support to help with maintaining proper stance while skating. This easily makes these skates one of the best low-cost options to enter the world of inline skating.
