Powerslide Phuzion Xenon Inline Skates

2 items

Phuzion is a classic fitness skates line from Powerslide. It includes superb quality medium and upper shelf skates designed for intermediate and advanced skaters. However, considering how well made are these and what kind of features they pack, many of Phuzion skates, especially ones on smaller wheels, are great for beginners who want a solid equipment to learn how to skate on.

Powerslide makes Phuzion skates using two outer skeleton types. The sleeker and lighter one is used in cheaper models intended for lighter fitness use and rec skating. The second one, name X-Shell is more robust and made for frequent, fast and demanding skating – for those who plan to do intense workouts and push both skates and themselves to their limits. Both types are made to provide a good level of ankle support, allowing you cover larger distances comfortably. Sometimes Powerslide makes a hybrid solution, coupling the base and upper found in cheaper models with cuff used in more expensive one.

Another unique characteristic making Phuzions standing out from the crowd of similar fitness skates is Trinity frame mounting. It allows adjusting the frame position in four directions, thanks to X-Slot technology, making it easy to correct any pronation or supination issues and skate with proper technique. Thanks to two front mounting screws being placed on the sides of the frame, under the balls of your feet, together with the sole of the boot they form a very rigid platform, increasing stability and giving a great feedback during skating. This mounting points placement also allows Powerslide to lower the centre of gravity, placing the wheels as close to the foot as possible, which results in skates being easier to control. Another benefit comes with much better energy transfer than in case of two point mounting.

Last but not least – Trinity mounting system means that you can swap stock frames for any other frames using the same standard. There’s no need to buy entirely new skates if you want to change to a different wheel setup! Such feature is very rare in fitness skates, which use riveted frames most of the time.
