The Razors name is a wordplay and gives away the attitude with which the company has entered the market. Aggressive inline skates are often called „blades”, a shortcut from word „rollerblades”. And how we call a blade with a super sharp cutting edge? A razor.

While the company has never grown in to the same size as competition, they were always focused on having a solid team of pro-skaters and making decent skates. They made one of the most iconic skates of all time: the Cult model. Their latest boot is unique Shift skate. It borrows ideas from previous model named SL, when it comes to boot and soulplate connection but adds one important novelty – fast frame swap system. The frame is mounted on a part of the soulplate which simply clicks underneath the boot. You can make the connection more secure and solid by using one screw, but it is not required. This allows you to swap different frame setups at ease – simply buy additional set of click-on soulplate parts, attach another set of frames with wheels to them and throw them into a backpack. Now you can switch between two of these sets with ease.
