Rollerblade is making one of the very best wheels for urban skating (and speedskating) in form of Hydrogens. Seeing that these are quite expensive, Italian brand went the way of Undercover and did the same thing competitor opted for in case of their own wheels – their proprietary urethane blend recipe has been use to create wheels in Asia instead of USA. This is how we got Undercover RAW wheels and now Hydrogen SE, too.

It’s simple, but effective. Hydrogen SE wheels are made in Thailand. This is why they are different in terms of cores – Rollerblade is using what is available in on-site. Instead of shipping regular Hydrogen cores over there. This also drives down the production price. In reality, we are paying less for a product which is almost the same in comparison to regular Hydrogen wheels.

Rollerblade picked really strong cores, able to withstand requirements of urban skating. It is worth to highlight one used in 80 mm wheel variant – they are completely solid, providing superb strength and making these great pick for freestyle slalom and slides.

Rollerblade is also selling complete package of wheels with spacers and high quality Twincam ILQ9 bearings. All you have to do is taking old wheels out and insert new ones in their place.
