Product Description

CCM RW300 – Skates for beginners for recreational skating and learning how to skate. To increase comfort and improve freedom of movement, designers removed the tendon guard in the rear. Recreational skates for adults – CCM RW300

Comfort for beginners – CCM RW3 are recreational hockey-style skates for adults. Designers created this model thinking about beginners and learners who appreciate the joy and pleasure of skating and fun on the ice, without competition.

To the ice rink – Planning a trip to the nearest ice rink? CCM RW300 skates will work well during casual weekend trips with friends and family.

CCM RW300 Skates – Why Choose Them?

  • Comfortable and durable – The boot and tongue have an anatomical shape that fits to the user's foot. The upper and sole are made of lightweight and durable plastic, which increases durability and stiffens the entire skate for better support and energy transfer. Classic hard toe cap protects the foot and prevents damage.
  • Lined with warm velvet material – The inner lining of the skates is covered with a soft-touch velvet lining that helps maintain the right temperature and improves comfort.
  • Control and mobility – The skates do not have a classic rear tendon guard like other hockey skates do. This provides greater freedom of movement while maintaining control. The lack of a guard allows for a relaxed and more comfortable stance while riding.
  • Good for begginers – Unlike higher models, RW3 skates are not so stiff, so they do not require perfect skating technique and forgive more mistakes. They allow you to improve the basics of skating and gradually develop new skills.
  • Hooks – Two upper lace loops have been replaced with hooks for easier tying.
  • CCM Laces – Wide and durable CCM laces allow for precise and strong tying of skates, providing better control and fit.
  • Pre-sharpened – Manufacturer CCM pre-sharpened the skates, so they are ready to ride right out of the box.
  • Hockey blade – The stainless-steel hockey blade ensures good manoeuvrability.
  • Width D – This is a universal boot width for all users with a classic and wider foot structure. The combination of D width with many available sizes will allow you to find the right fit.

CCM RW300 Skates – Remember.

Sharpening – RW300 skates are ready to ride immediately after taking them out of the box. In case the blade dulls, remember to sharpen them regularly to maintain their riding properties.

To prevent blade damage during transport and to protect against cuts, equip your skates with additional blade guards.

About manufacturer

Other products of this producer CCM

CCM is a Canadian hockey skates and gear manufacturer with history dating back to end of XIX century. It may be a surprise to many, but at the very beginning, the company has been focused on making bicycles and ...auto-mobiles. Company’s story is rich and full of unexpected turns of events, some of which can make you scratch your head wondering how it even survived up to this day. CCM stands for Canada Cycle and Motor Co.

By the end of XIX and beginning of XX centuries, bicycle market has became pretty saturated, pushing four smaller manufacturers in to consolidation under CCM banner. Because bicycles were no longer sold in high numbers, the company has started to make auto-mobiles, seeing that they were still pretty primitive and didn’t require much of investment in new production line machines. The Russel Motor brand was born, but in less than decade from releasing their first car, it has went its own way as a separate legal entity.

CCM was left with stockpile of raw materials (and scrap metal) from production of bicycles and cars, as well as no feasible way to put these resources in use for further production. Hockey skates and other equipment weren’t really a high tech gear back then, so owners turned their attention towards the most Canadian of all sports. After all, they had plenty of steel, leather and wood.

Another pivotal point was acquisition of hockey boot patent for a design created by boot manufacturer George Tackaberry. His boots were highly popular among professional hockey players. When George passed away, his wife sold the patent right to CCM and this is how flagship line of skates called TACKS was made.

Further down the line, the company went bankrupt, got bought out, changed owners multiple times, worked in toy manufacturing industry for a while, been acquired by Rebook and in turn, Adidas, only to be sold once again back in 2017. That is some turbulent history, but one thing remains consistent – CCM is one of the best and biggest hockey gear manufacturers in the world. In reality, there is only one company that can trade blows with it – Bauer, of course.
