Gyro

Gyro Wheels is a brand founded in 1996, with HQ located in Busan, Korea. The story of the brand has begun when four research chemists from Korea Institute of Footwear and Leather Technology (KIFLT) have created a partnership to bring new quality into inline skating wheel market. The first big project of Mr. Kang, Charles, Eric and Danny was developing a new wheel for well known K2 Skates brand. Thanks to it, they gathered a lot of experience and completed a fully operational development and manufacturing line. Soon they have started to produce the wheels under their own brand.

Gyro has grown rapidly since then. Their wheels are now exported to over 30 countries located on 4 continents. They also dip their toes in different skating gear, making frames, boots and other accessories. On a sidenote, a lot of other skating brands use services of Gyro to manufacture their wheels under OEM agreements. Chances are you have already skates Gyro products without even realizing it! Gyro is primarily focused on freeskating and freestyle slalom gear, two styles which are the most popular in their homeland. The brand is constantly tinkering with their products, looking for areas to upgrade, in their quest to make the best freestyle wheels in the world.
