Seba Skates is a highly recognized brand in the inline skating community, particularly known for its freestyle slalom skates. Its story dates back to 2005, when French freestyle champion Sébastien Laffargue decided to create skates specifically tailored to the demands of this dynamic discipline. At the time, the market was dominated by all-purpose models that did not meet slalom’s specialized needs, so Laffargue developed a line of skates designed to fill this gap.

From its inception, Seba has prioritized high-quality construction and top-notch performance, focusing on control and efficiency. These skates quickly gained a following among freestyle slalom and urban skating enthusiasts, especially thanks to ongoing innovations such as customizable components (adjustable cuffs, diverse frames, and liners). Around 2019, a new brand — FR Skates was introduced, and part of Seba’s existing lineup was split between the two companies. In the freestyle slalom category, standouts include the Seba Trix and High Light Carbon, while long-distance enthusiasts can opt for the Seba Marathon.
