Iqon Inline Skate Frames
54 itemsIQON frames are achieving new level of quality on inline skating market. The new, Germany based company is aspiring to a status of premium brand and is commited to this goal – their products are simply superb.
When creating IQON frames, the company’s engineers wanted to create something that will give skaters unparalleled amount of options when it comes to wheel setups. Every single IQON frame gives you a possibility to use up to 4 very different wheel setups.
How such versatility was achieved? Simple solutions work best – IQON has got rid of built-in bearing bosses (spacers) in the frame, removing any restrictions when it comes to axles placement. The trade-off is that you need dedicated Decode bearings to use these frames, as they have built-in spacers. Still, these frames are worth getting a new set of bearings for, as no others will give you the same number of options in single package.
Good news are that IQON frames are available in three mounting standard: SSM (165 spacing with raised heel), UFS and Trinity. Thus, no matter which freeskating or aggressive boot you have, there is a Decode frame compatible with it. LSM (195 mm spacing with raised heel) is missing out, but seeing that it is mostly used in low-cut speedskating boots, that’s hardly a downside. When it comes to quality, these are some high end frames. Made out of 7003 series alloy aircraft aluminum, extruded and CNC machined for final polish. Every single one of them comes in two versions: raw, natural metal and black anodized with gold decals.
