Product details

Product Description

Thanks to Razors, even the youngest can start their adventure with aggressive skating. Razors Genesys Junior skates are popular model for kids, made by a well-known and respected brand. These are intended for street / skatepark skating and built exactly like the professional equipment used by older, top of the game inline skaters.

Skates made of durable but flexible materials will significantly speed up the process of learning new tricks, providing maximum comfort and safety. The two-piece shell which allows for easy size adjustment qualifies the Razors Genesys Junior skates as the so-called "hardboot". It means a hard, durable shell with a rigid base - a very important feature that distinguishes this model from the competition.

The range of adjustable size is EU 36-39. Both the front and rear parts of the shell can be pulled apart and moved independently along the base of the skate, giving a lot of possibilities for individual adjustment. Like professional aggressive skates, the Razors Genesys Junior models have all the necessary parts, adapted to perform tricks. A large soul kit for soul-based tricks, a removable backslide plate and a super fast and durable Ground Control Junior frame with the 4-way rockering option (possibility of changing the position of wheels in relation to each other) and of course, an articulated, cuff secured with a strong buckle. All parts are replaceable, so it is granted that equipment can last for several seasons if maintained properly.

The flat version of the skate comes with four wheels of 56mm diameter and 90A hardness, which is optimal for aggressive skating. The Razors Genesys Junior Flat set is aimed at beginners - four wheels in frame help with learning to skate and make for a smooth introduction to sport, whereas the additional speed and maneuverability provide more enjoyable riding experience. It is worth to add that after children learn how to skate and are ready to learn tricks (ones which use frame groove, in particular) you can just swap inner wheels for grindwheels to make things easier for them.

Skate comes complete with a comfortable, anatomically padded Razors liner which, just like the adult version, is equipped with a thick shock-absorber for additional protection of the heel on landing jumps.

About manufacturer

Other products of this producer Razors

Razors is one of the most important aggressive skating company in history. It is mostly known as a company from sunny California, however, its roots are in Europe, Germany. The company was founded by Andy Wegner, who started a windsurfing goods distribution business in 1982. Soon he started to make various parts and equipment for this sport, under Sunshine brand. This company exists to this day and handles distribution of Razors and Remz skates as well as Jug liners and Ground Control frames. The first time Andy has seen the inline skates was back in 1989 during a business visit in San Diego.

Andy has soon realised that most of skating boots were made in Europe, his home turf. Furthermore, frames were available on open market in Taiwan. He already had business relationship with wheel maker, Kryptonics. He started working on a new project and several months later he showed the world his first skate design at ISPO tradeshows in Munich. It is worth to note that Sunshine was the first company ever to display a skate there. As the inline skate market has grown rapidly and soon started to be crowded, Andy decided to go for niche where he had the best chance of success – aggressive skating. He soon released his first aggressive skate, the Razors Impact. But what about the sunny California? Well, he moved with his business there in 1999, when Razors was already one of the most important brands in the industry.

The history of Razors is tied to their riders. They made a huge impact on product development – the skates were created to fit their needs best. For example, an unique SL boot concept (soulframe being a replaceable bottom of the boot) has been invented becasue skaters wanted the best possible feedback on grinds. During all these years, Razors have never released a skate one can consider bad. Every single model, from earliest Cults to most recent Shifts, are super solid skates and have sworn fans.
