Seba Slalom Cones
18 itemsFreestyle slalom cannot go without cones. These little things are what skaters do tricks between and believe it or not, they were subject to evolution just like freestyle skates themselves. The very first freestyle slalom skaters have used any type of plastic cup they could find in size small enough and cheap enough, with IKEA store ones being pretty popular choice. But these had several downsides, most importantly – they have not stacked well, making them inconvenient for transportation.
Seba was the first company to release dedicated freestyle slalom cones on the market. They were also the first to think about well-being of skaters’ wrists and ...buttocks, introducing dual density cones, softer in the upper part and harder in the lower. Falling on such cone is certainly less painful than on rigid plastic one and it is also harder to lock the cone between sole of the skate and the ground, which can potentially throw us off-balance and result in fall. Of course, the company still makes regular, harder and lighter cones which are preferred by speedslalom skaters.
