Wizard Inline Skate Frames
10 itemsWizard skating is a relatively young form of freestyle inline skating, drawing heavily from urban skating, aggressive skating, freestyle slalom, and even freestyle skiing and BMX flatland. To break free from skating between cones, Canadian inline skating legend Leon Basin initiated a trend for rigid, long frames with excellent manoeuvrability, which opened Pandora's box regarding artistic skating on flat, smooth surfaces.
Years of experimenting, testing, and the invaluable support of the Mushroom Blading duo resulted in the production of three versions of Wizard frames, each offering a completely different experience. Designed to provide the most versatile inline skating experience, they utilize a proprietary, unique wheel arrangement geometry to achieve greater manoeuvrability while maintaining increased stability.
Wizard frames are available in three different options.
Natural Rocker (NR) frames utilize a unique design featuring four wheels set in a three-position rocker configuration. The structure maintains high speed through improved glide efficiency while simultaneously offering superior shock absorption for a smoother rolling experience, outperforming smaller-wheeled counterparts.
Progressive Rocker (PR) frames incorporate a distinctive setup with five wheels arranged in a four-position rocker. This design results in a lower ride height, which significantly improves balance and control. Additionally, the shorter effective contact area enables a tighter turning radius.
Advanced frame cleverly merges large outer wheels with smaller inner ones. This configuration allows the outer wheels to protrude beyond and rise above the boot's base, expanding the range of balance. Simultaneously, the three smaller wheels positioned directly under the foot keep the centre of gravity low, enhancing control.
