Gawds Aton Urban - White/Red Inline Skates

Gawds brand by Franky Morales has been focusing on aggressive skating for years. Now they are entering new era with their first freeskate named Aton - an unique model with plenty of style.

Skates are based around modified Powerslide Ultron base, but everything else has been changed, so these two skates are completely different and only die-hard freeskating gear geeks will spot the similarities.

Shell is made put of glass fiber reinforced plastic, which gives it rigidity, strength and makes for a superb energy transfer. Semi-transparent cuff delivers excellent support to the sides while still allowing for freedom of movement back and forth. Anatomically shaped padding with microfiber lining has been designed to provide confirm right out of the box.

The outer skin makes these skates a looker, thanks to sneaker-like appearance and use of real and artifical leather. Aton do not have 45 degree strap, but does the job of holding your foot in place perfectly thanks to efficient lacing. These not only look like high quality sneakers, they also fit like them.

Skates come with simplified version of IQON Decode 90 CL frame – it can fit one of two setups: 3x110 (comes as stock option) or 4x90 (with a 1 mm rocker on both ends). This part is super strong and thanks to 275 mm length, provides a solid base for push. Fast skating feels effortless.

Any freeskating fan will like the wheels – their high quality 85A hardness urethane is a perfect balance between smooth roll, speed and vibration dampening. Wicked bearings complete the package.

New Aton by Gawds are skates like no other and feel like a breath of fresh air for urban skating segment. Their unique style and unorthodox ideas when it comes to boot design will definitely win them a lot of fans.
