Powerslide Phuzion Argon 110 Syncro fitness inline skates
Powerslide Phuzion Argon 110 Syncro - Black is a three-wheeled fitness inline skate with the innovative Syncro braking system. Offering good manoeuvrability and relatively easy to reach higher speeds. The Phuzion Argon inline skates feature a lightweight and rigid shell made of glass fibre reinforced plastic. The upper of the boot is made of polyurethane leather, which wraps the foot for an optimal fit and great responsiveness. This fitness skate is designed with the Trinity 3-point frame attachment system, which provides a low centre of gravity, excellent stability and superior energy transfer. Complete with Infinity 110mm wheels and high-speed ABEC 9 bearings.
Features of Powerslide Phuzion Argon 110 Syncro fitness inline skates
- Outer skeleton of the skate – made out of polymer material reinforced with addition of glass fibre. This vastly improves rigidity, resulting in better energy transfer and ankle support. Furthermore, Powerslide have upgraded it - filled the holes in shell, redesigned the weakest points, making the new Phuzion Argon Syncro more responsive skates overall.
- Entirely new cuff - which not only looks better but also stabilises your ankle much better
- Redesigned upper part of the boot - sporting new, stylish look with PU wedges and using mesh material for increased comfort. As a result, skates look sleeker and more sport style than previous versions.
- Fast lacing system - laces, upper buckle and 45 degree ratchet strap locks the heel firmly in place. All of these elements wrap around your foot with secure fit.
Anatomical liners with Recall foam
Use of Recall memory foams makes the boot quickly adapting to skater’s anatomy. Furthermore, these foams not only adjust to your feet rapidly - they also have memory effects. As a result, each time you put the skates on, they feel great.
Trinity mounting standard
- The Trinity frame mounting system - a standard in Powerslide skates. It further improves the overall skate rigidity, lowers the centre of gravity and ensures that vibrations during skating are distributed more evenly through the boot.
- Casted frame out of ADC10 aluminium and given finishing touch on CNC machining to get rid of excess of material and give them cleaner look. It measures 270 mm and fits three 110 mm diameter wheels, making for a very fast setup, perfect for intense aerobic workout.
- The frames are still short enough to make the skates agile, which is super important for newcomers.
- Super High Rebound urethane compound 110 mm wheels of 83a hardness,, making them comfortable to cruise, fast and long lasting. These Powerslide Infinity wheels are one of the best fitness ones on the market!
- The high quality Wicked ABEC9 bearings ensure smooth roll.
Syncro Brake System
The highlight of Argon Syncro Black 110 is the newly designed brake. Even though it works in a similar way to other active braking solutions from the past, it does bring something new to the table. It is simple concept – push the leg with a brake forward, which causes the cuff to tilt backwards – then, the lever does the rest, activating brake. No need to bend your stance.
The entirely new thing here is brake putting pressure on all three wheels at the same time, instead of just rear one. Thanks to it, braking is more efficient and in conjunction with stable 270 mm frame, the skates are easier to handle and safer to skate for absolute beginners! Furthermore, this brake limits the wheel wear in comparison to popular T-Stop technique and doesn’t wear as fast as traditional brakes, too.
Features of Powerslide Phuzion Argon 110 Syncro - Worth knowing!
It is also very handy when it comes to swapping frames – all Trinity frames fit all Trinity compatible boots! The choice of frames is extremely rich, ranging from very affordable Elite Casted ones to one of the most advanced models ever released.
The Syncro brake allows for smooth and even braking without any loss of stability. This makes braking more efficient, which is particularly important when skating long distances and at higher speeds. In addition, the Syncro brake minimises wheel wear and increases wheel life, resulting in longer and more comfortable skate use. This innovative solution makes the Powerslide Phuzion Argon 110 Syncro - Black a good choice for demanding skaters who value safety and comfort!
About manufacturer
Powerslide is one of industry’s leaders even though it is relatively young company – it has been founded in year 1994. The Germany based brand has entered the market at height of inline skating’s popularity, at the time when market was flooded with low quality skates which could be described as toys rather than sport equipment. From the very beginning, Powerslide had one goal: to break the perception of inline skating being a leisure activity for kids and to promote it as a sport for everyone. That’s not a surprise considering that company’s owner, Matthias Knoll, is a skater himself. As speedskating contender, he breathes this sport and his love for it has been fuelling Powerslide for over 25 years.
If we were to describe Powerslide in three words, these would be: quality, variety and innovation. From the very beginning of company’s existence, Germans have challenged industry’s giants and competed with them in field of quality. Nowadays they are in lead of the pack when it comes to technology: heatmoldable liners and boots, compressed carbon shells, revolutionary Trinity mounting – these things are relatively fresh and competition is yet to respond. Looking back, Powerslide was the first company to introduce carbon freestyle skate with integrated padding. They were the first company to introduce carbon based aggressive skate. 125mm wheels were introduced to speedskating thanks to them. The introduction of Kizer Advance frame and then Level 2 made a big impact and lead to rapid evolution of aggressive flat frames. Germans were the first company to make triskates a significant part of their offering, starting a new trend. Nowadays, Powerslide are the only company that makes real off-road skates (not to be confused with off-road rollerskis).
This pursuit of change and improvement is unique – no other company in this industry is having a boss willing to take even the craziest of ideas and concepts to production stage. Powerslide also have, without a shadow of doubt, the richest catalogue of products among all skating companies; covering even the most niche equipment made for freestyle slalom, downhill and inline alpine. They have full range of accessories and parts: helmets, protection pads, wheels, bearings, frames and so on. The company is also making rollerskates, providing recreational, roller derby and skatepark models and equipment. It can be safely said that if Powerslide is not making something skating related, chances of other companies having it in their offer are slim to none.
Powerslide have an impressive brand portfolio: MyFit liners, Wicked bearings, Reign hockey skates, USD aggressive skates, Kizer frames, Undercover wheels, Matter wheels, Gawds boots, wheels and softgoods, Prime wheels, Juice rollerskates wheels, Chaya rollerskates, Ennui protection and many others.
What makes Powerslide special are company’s people and supporters who create a community around it. Germans support and cooperate with skaters all around the globe. International Powerslide Team is composed of names every inline skating fan should be familiar with and believe us - there are far too many to list them here.

Stable & (very) Fast
Great skates, smooth, stable & well balanced, good heel grip and energy transfer, handle rough ground well, and very quick. Liner is high quality, very snug but you settle in once it gets warmed up after a few mins and will only get better with more time in the boots I imagine. New brakes take a little getting used to, but extremely effective, I only wonder how much of a premium you pay here, not sure if I wouldnt go for the 100's with HABS cost wise... Advice: you can skate these very fast, but don't be too aggressive with the brake set up, if you are skating fast and need to brake hard on your routes for road crossings etc you will end up locking out the back wheel and getting flat spots very quickly, I had to change out the back wheel after first 20K, and for good measure have a slightly harder compound set up on the back wheel of the brake boot, running fine now after I mellowed out the brake set up and another 20k later, all good. Enjoy, you wont go wrong with these.
