Scribe Industries was created by Shannon Grendahl and Steve Thomas in 1992. They engineered and created many of the original products that made our sport possible. The idea of re-establishing Scribe Industries came up in 2009, when Shane Birtzer and Dan Fabiano collaborated to revive Scribe Industries with the counseling help of Shannon Grendahl. Scribe had an amazing following and loyalty to the name and ideas behind the business. Dan and Shane strive to relive the old Scribe Industries in a new era and new light.

Scribe is about the roots, tradition, loyalty and "unity". Many look back at their roots and see Scribe. That's why Scribe is back. We are here to bring new light to new and old products and establish a team and philosophy that encourages rollers to unite and push for progression in our sport.
