Seba Inline Skates

Seba owes the name to its co-creator: freestyle slalom legend Sebastien Laffargue. At the very beginning of existence, the brand was focused on freeskating, but the owners had ambition to target wider audience. Thus, they have experimented with fitness line of skates (eventually scrapped) as well as aggressive inline skates and even ones for marathons.

Several years ago a big chunk of Seba catalog, including the high-profile freestyle slalom skates and  whole line of FR models, has been moved to newly formed FR Skates brand. Still, what has remained with Seba is no joke either: they have solid and affordable entry level freeskates in form of E3 model, several varieties of very good freestyle skates like High Light and Trix, as well as decent skates for children. Furthermore, they still make pretty popular aggressive skate, a CJ Wellsmore pro-model.

Seba may not shine as bright as before, nowadays, and it is pretty obvious that it lives in shadow of FR Skates, but one cannot deny that the brand makes super solid and reliable skates. Especially freeskaters who look for high quality, proven boots for slalom, freeride/urban skating and downhill should take a look at what is in Seba catalogue. Also, CJ pro-model remains the boot of choice to couple it with Wizard frames!
