Developed for the first time in the seventies by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to create a universal shoe size system ("mondo" meaning "world"), Mondopoint is officially calculated by measuring the length and width of the foot in millimeters. The term referring to ski boots, however, has been simplified to determine the length of the foot in centimeters, from the heel to the big toe. This is it! In this way, buying skates, roller skates or liners, will be much easier as the sizes in the UK, USA and EU will have one universal Mondo reference.
HOW TO FIND YOUR MONDOPOINT SIZE
That's easy! Stand on a piece of paper, heel leaning against the wall and press all your weight to the measured foot. Then draw a line on the big finger. Measure (in centimeters) the length of the paper to the line and voilà! This is your Mondopoint size. We recommend that you measure both feet and be more valuable when choosing MondoPoint.
