Sonic Sports Citrus Cleaner

Sonic Sports Citrus Cleaner is one of a kind product made for cleaning bearings. It contains only oils extracted from peels of oranges and lemons. There’s no water among ingredients, so there’s no risk of fluid causing rusting either.

Furthermore, as the liquid contains no petroleum-derived ingredients and other synthetic solvents, it is safe for rubber bearing shields and nylon balls retainers. In addition, it is non-flammable, biodegradable and non-toxic. Its fumes are not harmful and it evaporates slowly, limiting your exposure to them while you clean bearings.

That characteristic means that after cleaning, you’ll find that liquid has left a very thin film of oily residue on bearings. Just wipe it with cloth, so it won’t attract dirt during skating. Apart from cleaning bearings, you can use Citrus Cleaner for removing wax marks and glue from stickers. It can be used to clean just about anything from grease, i.e. bike chain.

Even though the product is environmentally friendly, we do not recommend pouring it down the drain. It is hydrophobic, meaning that it can stick to the surface of pipes and stay there, contributing to clogging of the piping.
