Roces 5th Element Inline Skates

Roces 5th element are modernized version of late 90’s skate under the same name. At the time of their release, the old 5th Elements were seen as revolution in aggressive skating. Without a shadow of doubt, they are the second most popular Roces skate after the M12 and one which re-release was highly requested by fans.

5th Element offer unique boot among aggressive skates. Stiff and supportive shell have lacing area made out of softer PU, wrapping around the foot perfectly and preventing heel lift. In addition, 5th Element’s liner is more advanced than one used in M12. It is made out of memory foam and covered with artificial leather on the outside. The insole is equipped with double density shock absorber to provide maximum comfort of landings.

As original 5th Elements were released prior to invention of UFS, they came with replaceable soulframe — the soulplate and frame in single piece. Thus, to bring the skates in to XXI century, Roces needed to equip the skate with a new soulplate. They have used part known from earlier Valo skates, held in high regard by fans of the brand. These souls are wider than ones used in M12 and have high wrap around wall providing excellent protection for the boot. Of course, the boot is now UFS compatible and will accept any frame using this standard.

To sum it up — whereas M12 are a basic model of the brand, the refreshed 5th Elements are premium one. These are pretty unique aggressive skates that take both old and new ideas and the result is a superb product worthy of recommendation.
