Phuzion Radon 3x90 – for who?
Powerslide Phuzion Radon 3x90 are lightweight, agile and easy to control inline skates. Recreation, short to medium distances, cardio training? No problem whatsoever! These mint (pun intended) skates are tailored towards needs of women with smaller boot size. Thus, come equipped with adequately short frames and 90 mm to lower centre of gravity. The cuff has been also a bit slimmed down compared to Krypton models, saving weigth.
Phuzion Radon 3x90 – why?
Lightweight, comfortable boot – softboot design. Your foot is placed inside comfy sneaker-like boot. Thanks to it, your feet won’t get tired and excess moisture gets removed. Upper od Phuzion Krypton Chrome skates is reinforced to protect them from damage during falls.
Reliable closure – classic lacing found in Phuzion Radon 3x90 is combined with Velcro strap and buckle lock your foot in place, erasing risk of abrasions and making skates easier to control.
Perfect amount of ankle support – rigid outer cuff and boot base are made out of plastic reinforced with glass fibres, ensuring that your ankle is stabilised during skating. This increases responsiveness and energy transfer, allowing you to go faster and have good control over the skates.
Aluminium triskate frame with 90 mm wheels – perfect blend of speed of agility. Three 90 mm wheels provide great roll and allow for short axle spacing. Aluminium is a rigid material, making frames found in Phuzion Radon 3x90 a perfect match for strong base of the boot. The result are fast and agile skates.
Trinity frame mounting – boot and frame are connected with three bolts, forming a triangle. Thanks to it, this connection is super solid and increases energy transfer, plus distributes vibrations more evenly through the whole boot. This equals less fatigue for your feet and joints. Trinity system also means lowered centre of gravity, making skates more stable and easier to handle.
HABS brake – as brake rubber wears down, you can adjust its’ position downwards, allowing you to preserve the same angle needed for braking and making it easier.
Phuzion Radon 3x90 skates - good to know.
Replaceable frames - thanks to Trinity mounting, you can swap stock frames for any other model compatible with the same standard. However, we do not recommend pairing long and tall speedskating frames with fitness softboots. Realistically, the upper boundary for 3 wheel frames should be taken as 3x110 mm, with 4x90 mm being maximum option for 4 wheel ones.
Balance improvement - skates give you an option to adjust frame position under the boot. Proper frame placement, taking our anatomy into account, improves the following characteristics:

- Ride comfortable
All of this makes a process of learning how to skate significantly easier.
Safe beginnings - stock wheels are on softer side to increase rolling comfort and make it easier to learn skating for beginners. You can start learning how to skate right form square zero, without worrying about grip and control.
Important note: skates are sold as OEM version, meaning they come without original box, allen key and instructions booklet. You still get a pair of brand new, unused skates - but keep that in mind.

Powerslide is one of industry’s leaders even though it is relatively young company – it has been founded in year 1994. The Germany based brand has entered the market at height of inline skating’s popularity, at the time when market was flooded with low quality skates which could be described as toys rather than sport equipment. From the very beginning, Powerslide had one goal: to break the perception of inline skating being a leisure activity for kids and to promote it as a sport for everyone. That’s not a surprise considering that company’s owner, Matthias Knoll, is a skater himself. As speedskating contender, he breathes this sport and his love for it has been fuelling Powerslide for over 25 years.
If we were to describe Powerslide in three words, these would be: quality, variety and innovation. From the very beginning of company’s existence, Germans have challenged industry’s giants and competed with them in field of quality. Nowadays they are in lead of the pack when it comes to technology: heatmoldable liners and boots, compressed carbon shells, revolutionary Trinity mounting – these things are relatively fresh and competition is yet to respond. Looking back, Powerslide was the first company to introduce carbon freestyle skate with integrated padding. They were the first company to introduce carbon based aggressive skate. 125mm wheels were introduced to speedskating thanks to them. The introduction of Kizer Advance frame and then Level 2 made a big impact and lead to rapid evolution of aggressive flat frames. Germans were the first company to make triskates a significant part of their offering, starting a new trend. Nowadays, Powerslide are the only company that makes real off-road skates (not to be confused with off-road rollerskis).
This pursuit of change and improvement is unique – no other company in this industry is having a boss willing to take even the craziest of ideas and concepts to production stage. Powerslide also have, without a shadow of doubt, the richest catalogue of products among all skating companies; covering even the most niche equipment made for freestyle slalom, downhill and inline alpine. They have full range of accessories and parts: helmets, protection pads, wheels, bearings, frames and so on. The company is also making rollerskates, providing recreational, roller derby and skatepark models and equipment. It can be safely said that if Powerslide is not making something skating related, chances of other companies having it in their offer are slim to none.
