The FR RC165 Boot Only - Black is designed for advanced skaters who want high responsiveness, comfort, and durability, especially for competitive or intense skating disciplines like speed slalom and free jump. The boot features self-molding Intuition High-Density foam lining which will immediately offer a great fit. The FR RC165 boot features a self-moulding high-density Intuition foam liner for a perfect fit. The FR RC165's lightweight and durable carbon-fibre shell and lack of cuff allows it to adopt the optimum position when speed slalom skating, in addition to allowing full use of energy transfer during Free Jumps.

An easy extra heat moulding on the whole foot, or around a specific area can also be done, if required.
The boot has two mounting plates, one located at the front of the boot and one at the rear. Each mounting plate has 9 holes, giving multiple options for frame attachment. This allows the skater to adjust the position of the frame more precisely. Having multiple holes provides flexibility in how the frame is mounted, which can be essential for adjusting the skate for different skating styles, body mechanics, or personal preferences.

FR Skates is second brand created by freestyle slalom legend, Sebastien Laffargue. It branched off from Seba in second half of year 2016 and includes mostly the freeskating range of skates taken from the predecessor, namely the FR line of skates. However, Sebastien has decided to take some of high-end freestyle slalom skates under new brand, like the highly regarded Igor for example. Thus, FR Skates have become a flagship brand of its creator and can be considered an aggregation of best products and ideas released under Seba label up to year 2016. It doesn’t mean that lower price offerings haven’t made the cut – the extremely popular entry level FRX are still available!
FR Skates continues Seba legacy of quality, wide availability of parts and innovation. Sebastien and his pals have hands full of work and try to push the sport in to new directions with FR Skates. It’s worth to mention an innovative concept of 90-72-72-90 freestyle slalom frames or that they’ve delivered a wide range of UFS based freeskating frames. The brand even makes super light and extra stiff full carbon frames – of course, it’s not the first company to make frames out of this material, but the first to use the technology to make frames for cone slalom.
FR Skates brand gains momentum with every new product and is on the way to eclipse achievements of its precursor, Seba. They truly have something for every freeskating or freestyle slalom enthusiast – be it solid entry level skates for newcomers, models for those who demand a lot from the equipment, people who like unconventional hardware and those who prefer sticking with classic setups.
