Ground Control Featherlite FLT 4 Shima 3.1 Inline Skate Frames

Ground Control frame company is one of the most important and influential brands in aggressive inline skating. It has been founded back in year 2000 by Jon Elliott – one of the most talented and achieving skaters at the time. He is a pretty tall and heavy guy and back in his pro blader days, he snapped frames like crazy. With a little bit of push from Andy (Razors skates owner and his sponsor at the time) he started on designing frames and in year 2001 the very first GC frames hit the market. At the time, they were revolutionary – first aftermarket UFS frames in the history, the innovative “sickle” axle design, super strong and symmetrical, meaning that you could get more out of them.

Ground Control develops and releases new products to this day, even though Jon is no longer a professional skater and tends to stay away form camera lenses. While they are still focused mostly on aggressive, they have also released some UFS frames for freeskating. GC frames are also in close relationship with Razors skates, seeing that Andy and Jon go way back, and come stock on them majority of the time.
