The Powerslide Imperial inline skates have been a staple in Powerslide's range for a decade. Although they have recently taken a back seat to their younger siblings, the Next and Zoom, they remain an excellent choice for general freeskating and even more demanding activities like jumps, slides, and as a base for large-wheel setups.

The Powerslide Imperial Lollipop 80 stands out for its functionality and durability

  • The skates feature a rigid shell construction made of a material reinforced with glass fibres, providing excellent ankle support, stability, and safety, especially on high frames with large wheels. The Imperial boot has become a preferred choice among freeskaters.
  • The Imperial shell is best suited for people with slim or average-width feet, offering great foot retention and excellent transfer of movements to the wheels.
  • The skates come with a replaceable slider in the most damage-prone area during slides, which further extends the boot's lifespan.
  • Including the MyFit Basic Dual Fit liner, which has a neoprene front, allowing it to adapt perfectly to the foot in two sizes. The high-quality, anatomically shaped foam ensures comfortable skating.
  • The X-Slot mounting system allows for longitudinal and transverse adjustment. The boot features embedded metal plates with a bed for a nut to slide through. This design, combined with longitudinal screw holes in the frame, allows for precise positioning under the foot, correcting leg alignment issues, improving stability, and aiding in maintaining proper skating technique. The shell is compatible with ssm mount frames (165 mm spacing, v-type).

Surface 2in1 frames, crafted from a high-quality aluminum cast, making the frame lightweight, robust, and durable. Versatile for urban skaters, allowing easy switching between three and four-wheel setups. Thanks to the standard 165 mm mount, these high-quality frames offer a choice between the agility of a 4x 84 mm setup or the speed of a 3x 110 mm configuration, adaptable to different surfaces and personal skating styles.

Powerslide is one of industry’s leaders even though it is relatively young company – it has been founded in year 1994. The Germany based brand has entered the market at height of inline skating’s popularity, at the time when market was flooded with low quality skates which could be described as toys rather than sport equipment. From the very beginning, Powerslide had one goal: to break the perception of inline skating being a leisure activity for kids and to promote it as a sport for everyone. That’s not a surprise considering that company’s owner, Matthias Knoll, is a skater himself. As speedskating contender, he breathes this sport and his love for it has been fuelling Powerslide for over 25 years.

If we were to describe Powerslide in three words, these would be: quality, variety and innovation. From the very beginning of company’s existence, Germans have challenged industry’s giants and competed with them in field of quality. Nowadays they are in lead of the pack when it comes to technology: heatmoldable liners and boots, compressed carbon shells, revolutionary Trinity mounting – these things are relatively fresh and competition is yet to respond. Looking back, Powerslide was the first company to introduce carbon freestyle skate with integrated padding.
