Razors Inline Skates

The Razors name is a wordplay and gives away the attitude with which the company has entered the market. Aggressive inline skates are often called „blades”, a shortcut from word „rollerblades”. And how we call a blade with a super sharp cutting edge? A razor. The brand has been founded with intention of making some waves on inline skating market, even though at the beginning they were just a small fish in a pond where much bigger ones already swam. Razors owe a lot of their initial success to legendary skater Brian Shima, who quit the USD team to help a smaller company spread their wings. It worked – Razors skates have started to sell like hotcakes.

While the company has never grown in to the same size as competition, they were always focused on having a solid team of pro-skaters and making decent skaters. They made one of the most iconic skates of all time: the Cult model. Their style has attracted many talented people over the years, including a man who is believed to be the most talented aggressive skater ever: Brian Aragon. He traveled the world with Razors, had 6 pro skates with them, even got a skatepark named after him and remained loyal to the brand up to the point at which he retired, while still being on top. We shouldn’t ever forget that this amazing journey of one of the best athletes this sport has ever seen simply wouldn’t be possible without a support from Razors.

Razors may not innovate much, but they are efficient in what they do. There is no such thing as bad Razors skate, as all models: Cult, Genesys, SL and Shift are super solid and praised by skaters worldwide. These days, Razors still remain a player to watch in aggressive skating scene and it won’t change any time soon.
