Product details
Rollerblade Spiritblade skates are one of the best engineered rec/beginner skates money can buy. Thanks to the same high-grade materials as found in more expensive models of the brand, these skates are outpacing competition and offer superb price to quality ratio package.
A keen eye will quickly spot that Spiritblade are the same skates as Zetrablade. So, why the name swap? Well, Spiritblade was older name for the model and it still remains in use in some markets. Sometimes there are retail chains which want to have their "own" model, different from mainstream Rollerblade line and sulprus skates made for them are finding their way into shops like ours. Don't worry about it - current Spiritblade and Zetrablade are the same skates.
Spiritblade are typical softboots – meaning that they have a relatively soft, breathable and lightweight boot placed on stable composite base with rigid external cuff, giving the ankle a good level of support. Even though the cuff itself is fairly minimalistic, it is rigid and high enough to prevent pronation and supination. It is open at the front, allowing you to get lower on your knees while skating. A strong, plastic buckle on top provides a secure closure.
The soft part of the boot is highly functional. The outer fabric is strong and further reinforced by welded TPU material. Beneath outer layer you’ll find a comfortable, anatomically shaped Performance padding. Furthermore, inner lining material is abrasion-resistant to last longer. A fast lacing system allows you to easily tighten the boot. Final touch is the Velcro strap to lock you heel in place. Light reflective decals keep you safe by making you visible while skating.
Spiritblade have composite frame which is actually a single piece with the rest of the skate outer skeleton. Such concept is sometimes called “unibody”. There are several benefits to this approach: skates are lighter, come with less parts needing attention and have great, direct energy transfer. The frame itself is rigid enough for rec or light fitness skating. Its length gives a solid base for push and much needed stability. Furthermore – the setup height is as low as possible to make skates easy to control.
Maximum wheel size is 80 mm and skate comes with such ones stock. The 4x80 setup is superb to learn how to skate on, and there’s plenty of headroom to go faster once you’ll learn the basics. Wheels have 82A hardness and are intended to give a smooth, comfy roll with moderate speed – if you want to go faster, you can always swap them for harder ones. SG5 bearings are excellent choice for fitness skating.
The skates come with a brake attached on a right boot. The shorter axle comes in the box if you want to take the brake off.
Spiritblade come highly recommended to those who look for comfortable, well made skates for rec skating and a solid first pair to learn how to skate on.

About manufacturer

Rollerblade is a brand that played a pivotal role in popularizing inline skating throughout the 1980s and 1990s, becoming almost synonymous with the sport itself. Thanks to innovative solutions like braking systems and adjustable frames, Rollerblade sparked global interest in inline skating and introduced a wide range of products suited to various riding styles.
Rollerblade offers a variety of inline skates favored by skaters of all levels and disciplines. Among their most recognized models is the Twister Edge series, known for its sturdy, ventilated hard-shell boot and responsive frame that excels in urban and freestyle settings. The RB series (e.g., RB 80, RB 110) is a versatile option that balances durability and comfort, making it suitable for city skating and recreational use. Fitness enthusiasts often turn to the Macroblade series (with wheel sizes ranging from 80mm to 100mm) for longer distances and smoother rides, while the Zetrablade caters to beginners with its budget-friendly price, stable frame, and comfortable fit. The Maxxum series offers a robust cross-training solution, combining the rigidity of an urban shell with high-performance wheels for speed and control. Together, these models showcase Rollerblade’s commitment to quality, innovation, and serving a wide range of skating styles.
Additionally, Rollerblade’s product range extends beyond adult skates to include options for younger enthusiasts as well. From children’s skates and dedicated protective gear—such as helmets and pads—to a variety of replacement parts like wheels, bearings, frames, and more, they make maintenance and customization simple. The brand also offers backpacks and other accessories, ensuring that transporting and organizing skating equipment is both convenient and stylish, and underscoring Rollerblade’s commitment to supporting every facet of the inline skating experience.
