THEM Street Bacethem - Complete for aggressive inline skating
Them Street frames are classic, low profile frame designed for aggressive skating. Created as a result of collaboration between Kyle Sola and Jon Julio, are the integral part of complete Them skates setups yet also offered as independent, after market product. Complete variant including Themskates 58 mm flat-profile wheels and Abec 5 bearings - ready to ride!
Made of injection-molded nylon filled with glass fibre, Them Street frames provide symmetrical design and much improved rigidity. Using the extra supporting 'bridges' separating each wheel, we get enhanced energy transfer, granting a noticeably greater speed.
Distinctive shape of Them Street frames is skilful combination of profiled side walls and wide yet shallow royal groove. The width of the groove allows stress free grinding in flat setups, but it will work perfectly with any anti rocker setting too. To keep the characteristic, the lowest possible centre of gravity Them Street frame can accommodate flat setup with wheels of maximum size 58 mm. However, if our skates have a properly adapted soul plate, then in the case of anti rocker setup, the outer wheels can also be 60 mm in size.
Offered in several colours and two base lengths: 250 mm and 270 mm. The split between the middle wheels is 110 mm while the overall height is only 45 mm.

The thickness of lower part of the side wall is almost doubled to improve durability and facilitate cess slide oriented tricks. In addition, the side wall has a small recess through entire length that significantly lowers the friction during doing grinds. Low friction will definitely make grinds longer and more smooth.
Them Street frames can be easily mounted thanks to easy access to UFS bolts. Taking out middle wheels is not necessary when we need to change the frame, while the custom-made steel axles, with asymmetric head only needs one tool to tighten or loosen. Very practical solution that can be a blessing if you are changing your frame setup constantly.

Them Skates is a brand created by aggressive inline skating legend, Jon Julio. He is the mastermind behind the marketing and team management of (now shelved) Valo brand which he ran for Roces. After over 15 years, Valo came to an end and he and Italian brand parted ways. Seeing that he basically lost a job that he dedicated his whole adult life to, Jon was at the crossroads. Led by responsibility towards his family, he almost took post office job. However, it was not meant to be – following his love for skating, he decided to have one last shot at creating a skating company, seeing that the he already has been involved in Themgoods (a softgoods company) and Youth frames projects, which were more of a side-jobs for him. Them Skates were born.
Even though the first product – Them 908 model – was nothing revolutionary: used old Sabotage molds (with a new soulplate, but still), had very basic liner and was available as boot only without an option for complete setup, it sold like a hotcakes. This success is thanks to Jon’s loyal fans and supporters from all over the world, a community that had his back and wanted him in the skating. The popularity of Them Skates allowed Jon to expand rapidly – within a time frame of just one year, he developed his proprietary boot mold in cooperation with Kyle Sola, one of the most prominent industrial designers in skating. The 909, as it is called, is notable for being the first boot mold created and fully owned by a company run solely by aggressive inline skaters. Soon, the company created their own frames. Nowadays, one of the most talented and influential skaters are associated with Them Skates and many more chose to ride their boots for what they represent for aggressive skating community as a whole.
