There are two methods for selecting spacers for a specific wheel model:
- by trial and error,
- by purchasing dedicated spacers of the appropriate width.
It's clear that the second method is much easier and cheaper.
FR Skates has straightforwardly solved this problem – the company provides guidelines on the width of spacers that fit their own production wheels and models developed in collaboration with MPC, to ensure their optimal cooperation with bearings.

We recommend treating the provided guidelines as a reference point, however, we cannot guarantee that the suggested spacers will provide the best wheel rolling in all possible combinations with bearings (especially with low-quality bearings or unknown brands).
FR brand produces its bearings at the Twincam factory, and it is with these bearings in mind that the spacers are calibrated. By choosing bearings made by Twincam or other bearings specifically designed for inline skating, produced by well-known skating brands, you can significantly increase the chance of a perfect match with dedicated spacers for FR wheels.
