Rollerblade Inline Skate Wheels

Rollerblade is the oldest brand in inline skating industry. Their gear what always top-tier without any doubt – the only issue, prevalent for most of the brand’s existence, were wheels. They weren’t really as good as the rest of the skates parts, to put it simply.

Things have happened circa 2015. Rollerblade has joined forces with the same factory which makes legendary Matter wheels. All new polyurethane blend was created for Italian brand (yes, even though Rollerblade was founded in USA, they are Italian company nowadays), bringing high quality Hydrogen wheels into the market. They have received a warm welcome from international skating community, especially speedskating and freeskating enthusiasts.

After classic Hydrogens, new variants got released: even higher performing Hydrogen Pro targeted at speedskating and later on, Urban, Spectre and SE variants for urban skating. Seeing that Rollerblade got back into aggressive inline business after few years of hiatus, they have created version made for this style, too: Hydrogen Blank.

They didn’t stop at premium options, though. It is worth to highlight excellent Rollerblade Supreme wheels, which can go toe to toe with just about any mid-tier offering for urban skating on the market. They have great price to performance ratio! Other than that, Rollerblade offers decent fitness/rec wheels. There are even versions with spacers and bearings already inserted into them, making for super easy replacement.
