FR FR1 80 Deluxe Intuition 2023 - Black Inline Skates

FR1 is one of the most recognized freeskates

Its popularity is not fading even though so many years have passed since the very first version. The new Deluxe version is the best one yet to hit the market – thanks to partnership with Canadian Intuition brand, manufacturer of top quality liners for skates, water and winter sports.

Rigid, open shell

• Rigid hardboot - made out of durable material and equipped with multiple convenient features which are held in high regard by thousands of skaters. The shell itself has been cut more open than usual in skates of such design – it improves comfort, especially for user with high instep.
• The cuff with advanced canting system - allowing for 16 different cuff positions and can help in fixing problems with pronation or supination or simply serve to change cuff height.
• Replaceable abrasive pad on the side (sometimes called “slider”) - makes boots to last longer by protecting them during wheel slides (shuffles).
• Metal blocks sunken in to shell material in place of traditional mounting points - Each one of them has 7 threaded holes for screw, which allow for frame position adjustment. Additionally, they reinforce frame and boot connection, making it more rigid and greatly improving energy transfer.

165 mm mounting standard

Mount spacing is 165mm and boots are compatible with most of the frames which use this standard – also triskating ones, which are easier to attach thanks to special wheel well next to front mounting point, which makes more room for big wheels.

Complete with dedicated Intuition liners

Inside of the shell you'll find a custom version of world-famous Intuition liner – known for its durability, support and comfort. The liner comes with a lot of quality of life additions: lacing system, rubberised spots on the sole to prevent movement inside the shell and an option to be heat-moulded.

Better control over your inline skates - Thanks to the precision offered by Intuition liners, the FR FR1 80 Deluxe inline skates provide exceptional control over every movement. Precise fitting means that every foot movement is accurately transferred to the skates, which is crucial, especially in techniques requiring precise maneuvering, such as slalom skating.

Downsizing option

The Intuition Skate liner variant was created to fit FR shell as good as possible – thanks to it, downsizing of the shell was possible compared to regular FR1.
This gives tighter, closer fit which results in better control and energy transfer. Having this in mind, FR Skates changed the sizing in Deluxe model – so it shouldn't be a surprise if these skates will be overall slightly smaller than your old pair of FR1.

Frame with classic 4x80 mm setup

Deluxe V3 frame of 243mm length - complete with Street Invaders 80 mm / 85A wheels and FR MW9 bearings. This makes them an universal, reliable and agile setup which feels right at home in urban environment. 4x80mm is a classic among freeskates and is perfect for jumps and slides.

FR1 Deluxe – worth knowing!

Swap outer wheels for 76mm ones and the skate will perform well between the cones, too.
