The Rollerblade Twister Edge skates are, as their name suggests, a successor to cult classic Twister skates. These are some big shoes to fill, considering that original Twisters were flagship freeskates of Italian brand for almost 15 years and literally sold millions of pairs.

The new Comfort Flex tongue makes skating more comfortable with its cushioned wings and reinforced median bar to wrap around the shin better for improved flex and control while maintaining its shape consistently.

Liner comes with a good insole with arch support. Boot closure is made of lacing and two strong buckles, made for Twister Edge from scratch. Lower one comes with strap shaped in a way that protects buckle mechanism from damage during falls.

The frames do not disappoint. Well-made, strong and rigid, they will withstand even hardcore urban skating. It is worth to note that frame length changes with the boot size. People with big feet, EU44,5 and bigger, get 255 mm long frame to ensure a good level of stability. Skates for smaller feet have more popular 243 mm long frame. This ensures that no matter the boot size, you are getting an optimal skating experience. Both frame sizes fit four 80 mm wheels and come stock with them.

Wheels used in this version of the skate are Hydrogen Spectres – not only the best model in Rollerblade’s catalogue, also one of the best urban skating wheels on the market.
